Aging Gracefully...Kind of...

So, as anyone who knows Doug knows, he exercises at 110%. Actually, you could probably say that he does most things in life at 110% (God help our future energizer-bunny children). Unfortunately, since our arrival in Swaziland, Doug has taken a beating with his 110% - his body, that is. After trail running on a cow footpath to the top of a nearby mountain, slipping, and spraining his ankle so badly that he had to hobble home, he asked me if I thought that he would ever be 'injury free' again? Given the series of sprained ankles, achilles tendinitis, tendinitis in his knee, etc. that has been his experience in Swaziland thus far, I reluctantly said, no. That didn't go over very well. Anyways, my point is that Doug has relented to swimming as a way to nurse his body back to health. So...here he is swimming 'laps' in our backyard. Yup, the pool might be 5 yards long. Maybe. Gotta love his eternal optimism.
